About the event
Like last year, Treptow-Köpenick is celebrating its diverse togetherness with international artists and musicians at the International Summer Festival!
In workshops and at the Market of Opportunities, you can get to know people and initiatives that are committed to a colorful, peaceful and sustainable coexistence. There are movement games, sustainable craft activities and multilingual stories for children and families. To ensure that no one goes hungry or thirsty, there is* delicious food, refreshing drinks* at reasonable prices and joint cooking sessions with rescued food on site for a small donation.
Focus on sustainabilityThis year's focus of the festival is the topic of sustainability and the associated 17 sustainability goals , the so-called Sustainable Development Goals. These are reflected in many elements of the festival: among others in the delicious international and vegetarian cuisine, the avoidance of disposable tableware and in the themed workshops where visitors can experience the magic and fun of upcycling with their own hands, for example.
Joint celebration with the Turkish twin town Eskişehir-TepebaşıAlso taking part this year are our friends from our Turkish twin town Eskişehir-Tepebaşı, who have just been honored with an award for their commitment to sustainability.
Make a note of the date and bring your family, friends and neighbors! We look forward to seeing you and to an unforgettable festival atmosphere for young and old!
