Soul Explosion

On June 28th, 2025, from 6 pm we will be throwing an outdoor and indoor party (from 10 pm) in the iconic Baergarten // Revier Südost!

In cold or rainy weather, the event will be held indoors only. Anyone familiar with Soul Explosion knows that it's a place for intense dancing and unconventional music beyond the well-known hits. James Brown and Aretha Franklin have to stay outside, but rather some pretty cool deep funk and boogaloo tracks land on the turntables, which not only make your shoes explode, but also ensure that there's always a really cool party.

For 25 years!!! Not only the stars of the scene, but especially the multitude of lesser-known bands that existed throughout the USA, delivered a wealth of songs, including "funky soul" or "deep funk" pieces that were hard and uncomfortable, the antithesis of the watered-down Motown sound, so to speak.
